The Music Festival was held in Brooks Field (behind Mill Road Car Park) and was better than ever!

On Friday 19th July headliners Murdoch's Crazy Eyes kicked off the weekend and we're joined by Harry and the Hounds and DJ Eddie J who kept the party going. Saturday 20th July, was a family orientated afternoon and evening of Country, Americana, Folk and Bluegrass music with the town coming alive with the soul-stirring melodies and toe-tapping rhythms of these beloved genres. A phenomenal array of bands including The ARC Songwriters, local band IOLAR, favourite Oakville Pete, local boys Frank Regester and Kieran Moore, Jack Boyd, Flint County, Hari and headliners The Stomping Boondocks all played. And there was line dancing with The Dixiebelles.  On Sunday 21st July the weekend drew to a close with an afternoon of Jazz. From The Regis Jazz Band 'trad' of the 1920's to The Phoenix Big Band sounds of the 1930's and 40's, through the Sam Carelse chanteuse led gypsy jazz of Europe to the original sounds of Amuse Manouche Duo and Arundel based Big House, finishing in 'funky dancey' form with The Horn Dogs.
