A Summer’s Evening at the Castle

Saturday 17th June 7pm till 10.30pm

Saturday sees a more chilled out vibe with “Travels in time” a special one-off audience with acclaimed historian, film maker and author Michael Wood sharing stories, fascinating anecdotes and often hilarious, even hair-raising tales of adventures. From the Dark Ages and Troy, to Alexander the Great and the lost cities of the Incas, and on to his grand sweep histories of India and China.

The Sleepy Lagoon Dance Orchestra will then take you on a musical journey

through the decades with a chance to listen to, or dance to classics from the 1930’s to 1950’s including Jack Hylton, Glen Miller, Artie Shaw and more as well as some James Bond themes.

Arundel Gallery Trail presents three accomplished artists from the cornucopia of creativity that will be on show at the Festival when 100+ artists will be exhibiting in over 40 venues. The evening will also feature the colourful Petworth Piano Trail and its merry pianists.

So, sit back and enjoy the Champagne reception, sumptuous cheese platter with wine, have the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes and bid on some ‘money can’t buy’ auction items, all for the ticket price of £40 whilst supporting a good cause at the same time!
